Do you offer body piercing?
No, we do not offer piercings.
What do I need to get tattooed?
The state of Florida requires that you have a government issued photo ID in order to get tattooed. If you don't have your ID, we can accept your birth certificate and a school ID. Basically, we need a government document with your birth date, and photo verification that it is you. Driver's license, passport, military ID, etc. We also have a release form that must be filled out before getting tattooed.
I am under 18, can I get tattooed?
Yes, but we are very strict on what we will tattoo on a minor. No visible tattoos(forearms, necks, hands) and no tattoos in private areas (bikini zone or high up on the ribs.) In order to get tattooed you must have a form notarized THE DAY OF your tattoo. You can print one out at home here: http://www.floridahealth.gov/environmental-health/tattooing/_documents/Notarized_Minor_Consent.pdf or come in to the shop and pick one up. The DAY OF the tattoo, your parent or guardian must accompany you. We will require both your ID as well as your parent or guardian's. Your parent or guardian must approve of the design as well as the placement of the design before we begin tattooing. We know this is strict, but if you can't wait to get your tattoo, we want to make sure we are protected.
How do you price tattoos?
The shop minimum is $60. For smaller, single session tattoos, we can price them out in person. Just come into the shop, speak to an artist, and we can help you out. We do not give prices over the phone, and we do not give prices through email. For larger tattoos that will take multiple sessions (sleeves, back pieces, etc.), we charge hourly. $100-$150/hour.
Do you need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Appointments are preferred but we usually have time for walk-ins. You may call any of the shops for availability before coming in. For larger custom tattoos, your artist may recommend setting up a consultation appointment, where you can then leave a deposit and book your first tattoo appointment.

  • Jupiter 561-203-7627
  • Lake Worth 561-508-3151
  • Boynton Beach 561-777-7306
Why leave a deposit?
Deposits are required for custom or multi-session tattoos and are usually $50-$100. They serve to hold your appointment spot, as well as drawing fees (time it takes for the artist to draw your custom design). Deposits are applied to the last session of your tattoo.
How busy are your artists?
It depends. Some artists stay booked out a month or two in advance, some are more easily accessible, and some are able to take same day walk ins. Call us to see who is available and what you need to do to set up an appointment with an artist.

Even if it's the same day, it is better than not calling at all. If you left a deposit, we can transfer it to the next appointment. If you no call/no show you will lose your deposit and will have to leave another one if you want to get tattooed.
What is your shop minimum?
Our minimum is $60. We absolutely WILL NOT tattoo for anything less than that. If you are working with a budget, let the artist know and we can draw your design accordingly.
Do you only accept cash?
We accept cash as well as credit cards. We also offer gift certificates.
What is your email address?
Email us anytime at aceshightattooshop@gmail.com or Aceshighldub@gmail.com (lake worth)
Do you do coverups?
Yes we do. This requires a face to face consultation with an artist to make sure the coverup is possible.
Do you rework old tattoos?
Yes, we do. This also requires as face to face consultation. With old tattoos, sometimes coverup is the way to go. If we can salvage it, we definitely will, but we will also be honest if it can not be saved.
Do you allow children?
We allow children in the lobby, but absolutely no children in the tattooing areas. We spray chemicals, and have sharp instruments that could possibly hurt your child. Also, a screaming child is very distracting when we are trying to tattoo. Please keep them in the lobby and make sure someone is watching them.
Are there any kind of tattoos you will not do?
We don't do UV(blacklight) tattoos. We also don't do all white tattoos. White tattoos can often turn a yellowish color that looks awful. We do not do henna, and we do not do temporary tattoos.
How do I take care of my tattoo?
Standard Tattoo Aftercare

Leave your bandage on for an hour or until you make it home and then wash it immediately with water (your tattoo will be sensitive, but try to use the hottest water you can stand to wash it with and then you can use cool water to rinse) and fragrance-free, antibacterial/antimicrobial soap (NO antiseptic products!). Wash and rinse your tattoo until it no longer feels slimy. Blot dry with a clean towel or paper towel and then allow it to air dry for 5-10 minutes. Apply a VERY THIN layer of bacitracin, Aquaphor, or A&D ointment. Blot away excess ointment. Wash your tattoo this way no less than three but no more than five times per day for the first four days. After the first four days, you can wash it three times a day and switch to an unscented lotion. Continue this until your tattoo is completely healed and use unscented lotion as needed when it feels dry.

Advanced Tattoo Aftercare

If you’ve embarked on a multi-sitting tattoo journey or have just added a larger-scale, single-sitting piece to your collection, congratulations! Caring for these pieces is not too different from smaller tattoos, but there are a few key things we ask you to do to ensure the best healing process and end result possible. Just like with a smaller tattoo, you’ll want to leave your bandage on for an hour or until you make it home and then wash it immediately with water (your tattoo will be sensitive, but try to use the hottest water you can stand to wash it with and then you can use cool water to rinse) and fragrance-free, antibacterial/antimicrobial soap (NO antiseptic products!). After you wash it the first two nights just before bedtime, get a piece of plastic wrap just big enough to cover the freshly-tattooed area, gently place it over your tattoo, and secure it with a few pieces of scotch tape or medical tape and sleep with the wrap on. UNWRAP AND WASH YOUR TATTOO FIRST THING THE NEXT MORNING. Be sure to wash it until it no longer feels slimy. You may need to wash it more than once! Wash your tattoo no less than three but no more than five times per day for the first four days. After the first four days, you can wash it three times a day and switch to an unscented lotion. Continue this until your tattoo is completely healed and use unscented lotion as needed when it feels dry.
